Dr Emily Hodkinson
Consultant Cardiologist
Dr Emily Hodkinson is a Consultant Cardiologist with a special interest in electrophysiology and pacing. She is from Northern Ireland and graduated from the University of Manchester after completing a Medicine with French language programme.
She went on to complete advance cardiology training in Belfast and then came to Sydney to further her training. She completed research into inherited cardiac channelopathies, namely Long QT Syndrome, at the Victor Chang Institute.
Dr Hodkinson then went on to complete advanced clinical fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology/pacing alongside leaders in electrophysiology in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney, Royal Brampton and Harefield Hospitals in London, where she gained further experience in atrial fibrillation ablation, congenital heart disease and pacing.
She welcomes general cardiology and pacing referrals, as well as consultations for patients experiencing palpitations, fainting and dizzy spells.
